There was a standing ovation for our Primary pupils who put on a fabulous Christmas show this week!
‘The Ugly Sweater’ centred around the iconic Christmas tradition of the ugly Christmas sweater. Our main character was Year 2 pupil Asher (Y2) who did a fantastic job as the factory manager who no longer wanted to make toys this Christmas, but instead become a fashion designer.
After persuading his friends that the ‘ugly sweater’ was the way to go, and with Santa’s seal of approval, the ugly jumper fashion show took place….cue lots of singing, dancing and posing!
A huge well done to Asher and the Primary pupils whole sole the show, ably supported by the rest of Primary School and a group of supportive sixth form helpers.
It was clear that all the children put in lots of hard work with each and every one of them shining. They were all clearly spoken, vocal and oozed self-confidence.
Thank you to parents and members of the DGS family for coming along and supporting your children; we hope you enjoyed the show!
