The return of our LIVE Speech Evening

Next Friday, 9^th September 2022, the Derby Grammar School community will all gather to celebrate our first in-person Speech Evening since 2019.

In recent years, the pandemic has forced us to move our activities online, therefore we are overjoyed to be able to deliver this much-loved event live from the Riverside Centre in Derby.

Over the course of the evening, we will award and recognise the outstanding achievements of our pupils, and enjoy talented performances by the Primary and Senior School. Guests will also hear from our newly-appointed Chair of Governors, Andrew Gentles and the Head of School, Paul Logan; both of whom will review our successes and look at the trajectory of Derby Grammar School.

Our 2021/22 Head Prefects, Jacob McCandless and Maisie Hollick will then take to the stage to share their memories, experiences and insights from their time at our School, before passing the baton over to the incoming 2022/23 Prefects who are set to take the reins.

Guests are invited to arrive at the Riverside Centre from 6:30pm for a prompt 7:00pm start.

We very much look forward to welcoming everyone back together at what promises to be a heart-warming and enjoyable evening.
